Search Focus

Because, Aiimi Insight Engine contains information from all over your business, It can get confusing trying to find that one piece of information you need. It can be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

When you're searching for information you likely have a specific focus in mind. You may be looking for maintenance guides for assets on site or content that has a high PII risk.

Search Flows narrow down the data world to the things that matter to you right now.

Your administrator will create focuses that choose specific source, filters or language processing models to get you what you need based on your task and use case.

Applying a Search Focus

If you have access to any configured search focuses they will appear after you have run a search.

  1. Select Focuses to see a dropdown with al your available search flows.

  2. Select the flow you want to use based on your current task.

    • Everything - Keeps your search open to everything available to you within the system.

    • Other search flows - These narrow down the search based on the rules set up by your administrator.

  3. This will apply a number of settings to your search and you may see a reduction in the filters available.
