Finding Information for a SAR

Once you have created a SAR response you can begin to collect information. Other can review the information you gather and mark for redaction. This will help you send all the requesters information but only what they should see.

Adding things to your SAR

  1. From the SAR application select a SAR to start gathering information.

  2. Select Search from the action menu or Start Searching if it's a new SAR.

  3. This will automatically search based off the information given during set up.

Add multiple files to a SAR collection

  1. Select the checkbox of the files you want to add.

  2. Select Add to Collection from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Pick the collection or SAR you want to add it to.

Add one file to a SAR Collection

  1. There are two ways to add a single item to a collection.

  2. Select the checkbox of the files you want to add.

  3. Select Add to Collection from the bottom of the screen.

  4. Pick the collection or SAR you want to add it to. Or

  5. Select the checkbox of the files you want to add.

  6. Select the bookmark at the top of the result panel.

  7. Pick the collection or SAR you want to add it to.

You can add items to a SAR collection from a search in the same way you add things to any other collection.

Importing information for a SAR

You can import information for a SAR response. Imported data is added to a SAR response but can not be accessed via Aiimi Insight Engine.

  1. Select the SAR you want to add information to.

  2. Select Import.

You can import 1 file at a time with a maximum size of 30MB.
