Getting Data Reviewed

Data owners, SMEs or other team members may need to review information before its sent.

Assigning an item to someone for review

You can select individual files or the entire SAR for review.

Either:

  1. Select the checkbox of each file you want reviewed.

  2. Check the "Select Results on this page" box.

Or

  1. You can change the drop down within "Select Results on this page" to say all results.

Assign a user and a status

  1. Select Assign a User.

  2. A pop up will appear, start typing to search for the users name in the Assignee box.

  3. Select the relevant user.

  4. In Assignment Description add notes to help with context and understanding. Anything to help the assignee complete the assignment.

  5. Select Yes next to 'Assign to Username'.

Leaving comments

You can add comments to a SAR after assigning it.

  1. To leave a comment about a SAR select Comments from the action menu.

  2. Enter your message in the text box.

  3. Select Submit Comment.

The SAR owner will be notified of new comments and they are found and replied to in the same place.

Assigning a status

Assigning a status to a document can make it clear what is still left to do for a SAR. You can select individual files or the entire SAR to change the status.

Either:

  1. Select the checkbox of each file you want reviewed.

  2. Check the "Select Results on this page" box.

Or

  1. You can change the drop down within "Select Results on this page" to say all results.
