Create a source configuration to set up access, naming standard and securities for it.
Enter a unique ID for your source configuration into the Configuration ID field. This must be lowercase.
Enter a friendly display name for the source crawl. This will be shown on your Configurations dashboard.
If you want to change the source name shown to users enter a name into the Display Group field.
Sources with a matching Display Group will be grouped together when using filters.
Change what apps can access a source by checking or unchecking them within Application Access.
Select and data models that are mapped to this source from the Active Data Models dropdown.
If a model is not targeted it will increase the Elastic memory usage.
This is not needed if you are creating a SharePoint Crawl.
To determine how high a source results appears in a search result enter a Source Boost.
The higher the multiplier boost the higher in a result list items from this source will appear.
Choose Source items are in search suggestions by checking or unchecking the Enable Search Suggestions.
You can allow users to perform multilingual searches within Aiimi Insight Engine. The text analyser will parse the content of that source using the rules for each language.
Choose the language of the source from the text analyser dropdown. This will not translate the search or results but will allow native language to be used for the source.
The systems default language will be used if nothing is selected.
If this is changed after a source is created it will need to be reindexed.
