Authentication is the process of proving ‘you are who you say you are’
Our Insight Engine provides several ways to authenticate users:
A form where the user provides their username and password
Single sign-on (SSO), where the system already knows who you are
As part of the authentication process, we also store all the groups that a user is a member of.
These groups are used to control what apps users can access, and what data and content they can see
