Use the map lens to Pinpoint your search results on the Map Lens. It takes location information from your results and plots them directly onto a map. Helping you contextualise and visualise your findings. You can explore the map to see where items are based on their geolocation.
After performing a search, if any of your results have geolocations the map lens will be available.
Select Map from your lenses menu.
You are able to preview your results alongside your map or from the map lens results list. For help using the inline preview see our guides on item previews.
Select a pin on the map.
Select the result name from the popover on the map.
The Inline Preview panel for this item will open next to the map.
You can preview a different result by selecting the item name from the list or map popover.
For help accessing the inline preview from the results list see our guides on item previews.
The results plotted on your graph are available within a list that can be opened alongside the map. You can do all the normal result list actions from here. But you can also select the Center on map button to see where this result is on the map.
Select Show list on the map to open the results in a list view and Hide list to close the list panel.
You can apply filters to the results on your map lens. See our guide on filtering results for more information.
