Before getting access to the app or it's contents you need to authenticate users. Authentication is the process of proving ‘you are who you say you are’.
Aiimi Insight Engine provides two ways to authenticate users:
A login page that requires a username and password.
Single sign-on (SSO).
As part of authentication we store the groups that a user is a member of. These groups control what users can access and see.
Administrators can configure a code of conduct that users must accept before using the system. Whenever the code of conduct is updated, users must re-accept it before they can use the system.
Using groups, you can control who can access what within Aiimi Insight Engine. Each app can be locked down to specific groups or users. For more information see our guide on Application Access.
